STUDI PENDAHULUAN TERHADAP PERAN MANAJER MENENGAH PADA PRAKTEK MANAJEMEN BERKELANJUTAN DI INDUSTRI MINYAK KELAPA SAWIT INDONESIA VALIDASI MODEL PENELITIAN
Abstract
Manajer menengah memainkan peran penting dalam menjalankan strategi perusahaan, termasuk strategi keberlanjutan. Sebagian besar penelitian tentang keberlanjutan hanya berfokus pada arahan perusahaan oleh manajemen puncak dan mengabaikan peran manajer menengah. Industri kelapa sawit di Indonesia menghadapi tekanan yang luar biasa terkait dengan masalah keberlanjutan; dengan demikian, peran manajer menengah harus ditentukan dan diberdayakan untuk melaksanakan praktik keberlanjutan, yang akan meningkatkan kinerja keberlanjutan suatu perusahaan. Telah dilakukan kerangka penelitian untuk mempelajari peran dan perspektif manajer menengah dan operasionalisasi variabel untuk keenam variabel tersebut, dengan total 13 dimensi dan 45 indikator sebelum pandemi. Pretest instrumen telah dilakukan terhadap 30 sampel responden manajer menengah sebagai unit analisis, yang diambil secara acak dari 18 perusahaan minyak sawit publik. Hasil survei diuji validitas dan reliabilitas menggunakan SPPS masing-masing menggunakan produk Pearson dan uji alpha Cronbach. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan instrumen valid (kisaran 0,00-0,043, dengan nilai kritis 2 tails 0,05) dan reliabel (0,714-0,86 dengan nilai kritis 2 tails 0,7).
