PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP HYGIENE GENITAL WANITA USIA SUBUR

Abstract


Genital hygiene is a major component of women's health and is very important for the protection of reproductive health. Genital hygiene practices affect women's vulnerability to sexually transmitted infections and other sexual and reproductive morbidity. If genetalia hygiene is not maintained properly, it can lead to several infectious diseases in the reproductive organs that trigger cervical cancer. Women in the fertile period must maintain and care for their genetically diligently cleaning it, if this is not taken care of, it can lead to fluor albus. For this reason, WUS needs to be educated about genital hygiene practices to avoid the danger of bad behavior and reduce the rate of infection of reproductive organs. This study aims to determine the effect of health education on the knowledge and hygiene attitudes of genitals of fertile women (WUS) in the village of Gelogor Kediri. This type of research is pre experimental design with one group design pre and posttest design. The sample of this study was 39 WUS. Sampling technique with Accidental Sampling. Data analysis used is the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Paired Sample T test. The results showed that there was an influence of hygiene genetalia health education on knowledge (p = 0,000) and attitude (p = 0,000) for women of childbearing age.
