JUNK FOOD MAKANAN FAVORIT DAN DAMPAKNYA TERHADAP TUMBUH KEMBANG ANAK DAN REMAJA

Abstract


Penelitian ini menganalisis dampak yang di hasilkan aikbat mengkonsumsi junkfood secara berlebihan pada anak-anak dan remaja. Sebagaimana dketahui junkfood yang miskin akan nutrisi yang dibutuhkan tubuh dapat menyebabkan gangguan pada kesehatan seperti keracunan makanan, infeksi, penyakit diabetes, darah tinggi dan obesitas. Mengkonsumsi junkfood  yang tinggi kadar lemak dan gula seperti burger, fried chicken, french fries, hot dog, popcorn, pizza, biscuit, muffin, minuman berkarbonasi dan lain sebagainya  sudah menjadi bagian gaya hidup pada anak anak dan remaja terutamanya yang berada di kota besar. Mereka lebih sering mengkonsumsi makanan tersebut dibandingkan memakan sayur atau buah yang jelas lebih kaya gizi. Menurut Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia konsumsi junkfood secara berlebihan telah memberi kontribusi yang signifikan pada tingginya angka obesitas di seluruh dunia. Bimbingan mengenai pentingnya diet seimbang dan efek berbahaya dari junk food akan membantu  para anak-anak dan remaja mengurangi kecanduan mereka akan junkfood dan membantu mereka untuk memperbaiki status gizinya.
