PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN EKSPOSITORI BERBANTUAN MEDIA VISUAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII C SMP NEGERI 1 RENDANG SEMESTER GANJIL TAHUN PELAJARAN 2019/2020

Abstract


The purpose of this research is to improve student’s achievement in class VIII C SMP Negeri 1 Rendang with expository teaching model aided visual media in the 2019/2020 period. This study takes 30 students from VIII C class of SMP Negeri 1 Rendang as the subject, and the object of this study is to increase the student’s achievement of class VIII C with expository teaching model with visual media. After the data is collected through achievement test instruments and analyzed by quantitative descriptive analysis of the data obtained preliminary observations with an average 59.00, 33,33% mastery learning. This data is increased in the first cycle to 69.00 on average with 63,33% mastery learning and the second cycle of the data on increases to the average of 77.76 with 93,33% mastery learning. In the second cycle of data has been obtained as expected indicators of the success of research with the acquisition value exceeds the classical completeness mastery learning were set at 85% in social studies. Based on the data obtained, this research can be terminated until the implementation of the second cycle, given the success that has been achieved as expected, the implementation of the teaching and learning process is maximal can be implemented. So the use of expository teaching model aided visual media has been implemented can improve student achievement class VIII C SMP Negeri 1 Rendang semester of academic year 2019/2020
