STRATEGI KOMUNIKASI PEMENANGAN PASANGAN SYAFRUDIN-SUBARDI DALAM PEMILIHAN UMUM KEPALA DAERAH KOTA SERANG 2018-2023

Abstract


The post-reformation of democratic growth in Indonesia has a very high increase. One developing democracy is the election to the regions. In the regional head election process, several factors need to be considered to facilitate the net's objectives. Political communication is one of the most important indicators to get the sympathy of the people to achieve victory in the election. The recapitulation results in the Serang City Regional Election Commission (KPUD) vote, in the election of Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Serang City, set the pair number 03 Syafrudin-Subadri as Mayor and Deputy Mayor elected Serang City 2018-2023, by gaining 108,988 votes to defeat the pair number Syafrudin-Subadri as Mayor and Deputy Mayor elected Serang City 2018-2023, by obtaining 108,988 votes to defeat the pair number other sequences 02 Vera Nurlaela-Nurhasan 90,104 votes, 01 Samsul Hidayat-Rohman with 82,144 votes. This study aims to determine the winning strategy of the Syafrudin-Subadri pair in the election of Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Serang City 2018-2023. This research uses the descriptive qualitative method. Data obtained through interviews with the winning team and the elements that are considered relevant to this research. The results of the study revealed that the communication strategy of winning Syafrudin and Subadri in the Serang city elections in 2018-2023, by building Religious Character and People's Merakyat, establishing closeness and opening friendship to areas that were not a supporting base, created a persuasive political message to be able to get the attention of the public and the most effective use of media in the campaign period to spread their political message to the people of Serang City
