STRATEGI PEMULIHAN PARIWISATA PANTAI NIPAH, NUSA TENGGARA BARAT MELALUI PARTICIPATORY ACTION RESEARCH (PAR)

Abstract


Strategi pemulihan krisis pariwisata paska gempa Lombok 2018 penting untuk dirancang bersama-sama dengan masyarakat lokal sebagai stakeholder utama dalam pariwisata. Guna memberikan ruang yang lebih luas kepada masyarakat lokal, penelitian dengan pendekatan PAR (Participatory Action Research) dilakukan dalam merencanakan strategi pemulihan pariwisata paska gempa di Pantai Nipah, Desa Malaka, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi pemulihan pariwisata pedesaan di Pantai Nipah dengan menggali tiga hal penting yaitu permasalahan, tujuan dan pemilihan strategi pemulihan dengan menggunakan tools yang diadopsi dari PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal). Penelitian ini melibatkan masyarakat secara aktif dengan penentuan informan melalui teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri atas, kelompok pariwisata, pemimpin adat, pemerintah setempat, perempuan, dan pemuda. Penelitian ini menemukan strategi pemulihan berdasarkan permasalahan yang dialami masyarakat serta mengungkapkan bahwa PAR dengan mengadopsi PRA tools merupakan pendekatan penelitian yang dapat digunakan untuk memberikan ruang kepada masyarakat setempat dalam menyampaikan pendapat dan memberikan data yang lebih akurat berdasarkan keadaan riil masyarakat.
