REPRESENTASI FEMINIS RADIKAL DALAM VIDEO KLIP “GOD IS WOMAN”
Abstract
Penelitian ini berusaha untuk mengungkapkan representasi perempuan dalam video klip God is Woman dalam pandangan feminisme radikal. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan analisis semiotika dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Representasi perempuan yang ditampilkan dalam video klip ini memiliki unsur-unsur dominasi perempuan yang memiliki pengaruh kuasa dalam kehidupan sosial terutama untuk melawan pengaruh pariarki. Penelitian ini menelaah simbo-simbol yang ditampilkan sebagai representasi perempuan yang ditunjukkan melalui lambang-lambang yang paling berpengaruh dalam mitos sosial. Hasil penelitian memperilihatkan bahwa representasi perempuan yang ditampilkan dalam video klip menggambarkan perempuan mampu menjadi pusat dari kehidupan sosial, penelitian ini juga mengungkapkan dominasi perempuan atas kuasa tubuhnya dapat mengendalikan struktur sosial terutama dalam menundukkan laki-laki yang selama ini menjadi dominasi bagi tatanan sosial masyarakat.
