NILAI SUSILA DALAM SLOKA HINDU UNTUK PENGUATAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER BAGI PESERTA DIDIK

Abstract


In the industrial revolution era education begin to shift. This shift is not only on the process and methods of learning between educators and learners but it further shifts to the occurrence of deviant behavior that leads to the character. The education is not only how to develop intellectual intelligence, but also in the process should be balanced with the development of emotional and spiritual intelligence so that human ability to develop its potential to be balanced. The development of technology has an impact on the change of era. Now we are entering the industrial revolution era 4.0 certainly it has an impact not only on the economic sektor, but also on other sektors affected by the change of this era. One of them is moral degradation due to misuse and error in utilizing technology, so that students start experiencing behavioral changes that tend to lead to negatif behaviors. Teachers are as the frontline in education, teachers collaborate with parents, and community to minimize the students’ deviant behaviors. To minimize the students’ deviant behaviors can be done by the process of internalizing the religius values and retransforming Hindu religius knowledge in the form of moral teachings (susila) contained in Hindu sacred literature to the students. This internalization process is conducted in every educational environment by the family, school, and community. They take part to apply and implement the sacred values of Hindu susila teachings because these three educational environments who are able to build and develop students’ characters.
