PENGEMBANGAN PERKAMPUNGAN BUDAYA BETAWI SETU BABAKAN SEBAGAI KAWASAN WISATA BUDAYA DI JAKARTA

Abstract

Betawi Cultural Village Setu Babakan is a village established by the Jakarta government as an effort to preserve and develop Betawi culture in a sustainable manner. The displacement of the native population of Jakarta due to the growing population and with the acculturation of the culture of the newcomers, making the Betawi culture began to be forgotten. This is what drives the Government to create a place to preserve Betawi culture so that it still exists and develops. Facilities in the area of cultural tourism have been good in terms of facilities and supporting aspects such as a family playground, a variety of culinary provided and a variety of cultural performances made to make this tourist area is never empty of visitors from both domestic and foreign. Sustainable Tourism Development Program as outlined in Ministerial Regulation No. 14 of 2016, concerning Guidelines for Sustainable Tourism Destinations that support international standards from the Global Sustainable Tourism Council. To find out this, the study was conducted using data collection methods, namely by conducting observations, interviews and direct interviews with respondents to utilize the potential and related resources related to the resources used.
