IMPLEMENTASI EKSTRAKURIKULER PENDIDIKAN KEPRAMUKAAN DALAM PENGUATAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER SISWA

Abstract


This research is motivated by the many deviations of character that occur in society, especially among the younger generation. This study aims to describe the implementation of Scouting extracurricular education in Character Strengthening of students at MTs Negeri 2 Trenggalek. Studying in depth how the planning, implementation and extracurricular evaluation of Scouting education in strengthening students' character education. The subjects of this study were the madrasa headmaster, scoutmaster and student board members, and guardian parents. Data collection methods used were observation, interview and documentation. The research method is qualitative descriptive with data analysis through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data using source and technique triagulation. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Scout extracurricular education planning at MTs. Negeri 2 Trenggalek includes financing plans contained in the RKAKL and planning program activities that include annual, semester and weekly plans by making a Guiding Plan / Guiding Implementation Plan (RM / RPM), 2) Implementation of extracurricular scouting education in the form of Extracurricular Scouting Compulsory Education (EWPK) ), deliberation, jamboree, tripum (camp Friday night Saturday), exploration, LKP, LT II, LT III and LT IV, by applying the scouting method, the basic systems and figures of speech, 3) Evaluation is carried out in the form of a proficiency test by meeting the Skill Requirements General (SKU) and Special Skills Requirements (SKK). Based on this study the characters formed from the implementation of Scouting Extracurricular Education in MTs Negeri 2 Trenggalek are: religious, disciplined, responsible, independent, environmental care, social care, hard work and cooperation.
