DAMPAK LIMBAH COVID-19 TERHADAP LINGKUNGAN HIDUP (Dalam Perfektif Hukum Lingkungan)

Abstract


Corona Virus Diseases (COVID-19) has become an epidemic in Indonesia, and has even become a global pandemic in 2020. The various impacts of COVID-19, one of which is the impact of medical waste from patients exposed to the Covid-19 Virus. Covid-19 medical waste can have an impact on the environment if it is not managed properly. This research method is carried out by the sociological descriptive method, which aims to describe, explain and validate the social phenomenon that is the object of research, namely the Covid-19 phenomenon. The results of the study are that there are still many hospitals that do not have the facilities for managing covid-19 medical waste, the increase in Covid-19 patients makes medical waste increase, while the waste management is inadequate. Meanwhile, the regulation has been issued through a Decree of the Minister of Environment and a Decree of the Minister of Health
