PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE INSIDE OUTSIDE CIRCLE (IOC) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELS X IPS 1 SMAN 1 MATARAM PADA MATA PELAJARAN SEJARAH TAHUN PELAJARAN 2018/2019

Abstract


The main objective of this classroom-action research is to improve learning outcomes in History subject of Class X IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Mataram on historical sources and historical research stages material by applying Cooperative Type Inside Outside Circle (IOC) learning. The application of Cooperative Type Inside Outside Circle (IOC) learning is expected to improve the learning process in order to increase learning outcomes. This research was carried out in 2 (two) cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The first Cycle was held from August 2 to August 16, 2018 and the second one was held from August 23 to September  6, 2018. The research shows that only about 51% students of X IPS 1 got 75 or higher in their learning outcomes by the end of first Cycle. Due to inability to reach the minimum passing grade that 85% of students must get 75 or higher in their learning outcomes, the research was continued to the second Cycle. In the end of the second Cycle, 93% of students passed, the minimum passing grade was fulfilled and the learning outcomes also improved. It could be concluded that the application of Cooperative Type Inside Outside Circle (IOC) learning can improve learning outcomes of  X IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Mataram 2018/2019 students in History subject.
